Watercooled 3D printer
A scrapped printer frame the school was throwing out, rebuilt into a working watercooled machine.
At Kuben the school had an old printer frame sitting in pieces. We asked for it, got it, and rebuilt it — with a friend — into a watercooled machine.
It never saw much production use, but it moved and ran under its own power, which was the entire point. Taking a box of parts with no documentation and working backwards to a functioning machine teaches you things that assembling a kit never will.
